On Saturday we visited the town of Porvoo. My ambitious souvenir wishes of an old chandelier and a couple of wooden chairs weren't quite met, as all of the second hand shops had already closed by the time we made it there. But we came back with some relaxed small-town charm, satisfied stomachs and goodies from the local chocolate factory.

Hello...

I've just recently found your blog and wanted to say that I have really been enjoying your posts! I've added your blog to my list of "follow blogs"! It's so very nice to meet you and I look forward to getting to know you better...

Love your photos...especially intriqued by the window box full of herbs...I noticed that there is snow on the ground in that picture...hmmm, I guess that the cold weather doesn't bother them?

Hope that you're having a super Sunday!
Warmest wishes,
Chari

Hi!

Thank you so much for your recent visits and messages! It was a nice surprice :) Yes, we both are having busy days, caught up in daily routines. However, I never miss out your lovely blog even though I`m not always leaving a footprint behind.
What a lovely weekend it was, your images tells it all. I also enjoyed the pretty images from your new Finnish book. What is it called?

I wish you a happy new energic week to come!

Hugs/Aina

Voi Porvooseen minäkin haluan. Hyvän löydön olit tehdyt jos sait kruunun matkaasi. Oliko mitään merkkejä milloin Ihana Living avaa ovensa siellä?

p.s Aivan ihania nuo edellisen postauksen kuvat!

Katie - Thanks :) The quaint little town we visited is lined with cute little houses in different pastelly hues, very endearing!

Chari - That was a charming message to read, thak you! I was wondering the same thing when I saw the plants in the wintry weather and am intrigued to know what they were to manage in the cold!

Aina - It can be frustrating being caught in the daily grind when it robs time from things that one enjoys, but such is life at times. The book is called 'Huvilan hengessä' and it's by Pia-Maria Lehtola - it's rather lovely!

AnnaValance - I have a thing for pretty, old small towns, too. They seem to be built in such a humane scale and have a friendly, welcoming vibe!
