This is so beautiful! Cool but cosy and reminding me that I really need more space - not easy in London though... Have a great weekend and keep warm xo
Oh space yes - I know I've bemoaned this here before, but sometimes it feels as if life was a constant battle against stuff that just keeps piling up! Hope you're keeping well M. Poirot, x
Thanks Anci, the weekend came and went, and now if feels like the weekend again, as it's Finland's Independence Day tomorrow and we get the day off, nice! Take care, x
I loved that storage idea, too, somehow creating extra little spaces by using interior windows continues to appeal to me! Hope you're having a good week, x
Lovely post..as usual.. Serene atmosphere and so much inspiration.. Just decorated my house (a tiny house in a garden)for Christmas.. Love it if you came by my blog to see it.. Have a lovely week! love, M
Hi Rebecca! How is the weather treating you now after the weekend? Still in blizzard mode? The house posted here is charming. Finally I see a radio-stereo unit. I always wondered, not seeing one almost anywhere in interiors, people don't listen to music anymore? Where do they put their radio or whatever audio system they own? I have one a bit old and chunky (black) but it's still good and I don't want to spend money on a new one. I also like the filing cabinet(s) - that's something I would love to have in a corner. I have so much paper from my writing! As usually, it's a pleasure to come to your serene and inspiring blog. Keep warm, and thanks for sharing, Doina
Hi dear Doina, Since the blizzard the snow came to a halt, but then came the big freeze, shiver... But I just pulled my daughter home in her sledge after we went to see a ballet performance and suddenly it felt lovely and mild topped with feathery snowflakes falling on our heads, lovely!
I had to smile at your comment, how is it that just seeing something as normal as an audio system can feel refreshing amidst all the overly styled interiors that we're bombarded with :)
Ah such a stunning home, such large airy spaces, yet furnished and accessorized to add warmth and colour. Adore the comfy old sofa chair and the natural floors, would love to hang an enormous chandelier from that ceiling though. One day I'll have a home like that :O)
