Love at first sight
- Monia Merlo's photography
takes my breath away...
Ethereal and poetic,
with her water shots conjuring visions
of Tennyson's Lady of Shalott
(which I find one cannot quietly read inside one's head,
but has to be read aloud.
And that in turn has me thinking
my childhood heroine...).
These images are from Monia Merlo's portfolio
on Vogue Italia,
(these were just skimming the surface),
and you can also follow her
Wishing you a lovely weekend,
x

Incredible! The fabrics and photographs are so dream-like

Deletea Lady of Shalott -inspired shoot!!
Maybe you'll find the perfect muse
who will trust the water sooner or later :)

Thank you for sharing this artist's photography, stunning, Lady of Shallot is one of my favorite poems. Anne of Green Gables was my hero too.
ReplyDeleteI've come to notice that anyone who has a thing for Anne Shirley
Deleteis a kindred spirit!
She planted the love for that poem in me, too, as a young girl,
and I then ended up analysing it to bits at university quite some years later.
I think it's about time to re-read it now.
Piękne.
