WANDERINGS AROUND MALTA, Part III

Crumbling layers of limestone, blues & greys,

church bells & sermons spilling onto the streets from chapels,
joining in the chorus with birdsong,

little boys with olive skin
having a game of hide & seek in the backstreets,

cats bathing in the evening sun,

waves gently lapping against the rocky shores.

  1. Ah matkakuvia! Ikuisesti ihanaa siniharmaata ja mahtava munakuljetustaltiointi! Kaunis kiehtova Malta.

    1. Jaan kanssasi tuon ikirakkauden siniharmaisiin...

  2. your words are the perfect pairing with this incredible collection of malta lovely. oh the depth and layers of age and beauty. i want to be there right now to experience what you have described (which sounds like 'a thin place' where the veil between earth and heaven is awfully thin). peace to you, bringer of bliss.

    1. michele, you always leave the most magical traces...
"a thin veil between earth and heaven", what a heart-moving notion.
One that I think holds truth to it when engrossed in beauty...
      Love&joy to you sweetie, x

It makes me happy
when you leave a trace

- whether it's a single word
or you scribble all over.
