Born in America and living in East London, Kristin Perers has a background as a stylist and designer, but currently works as a photographer. She has breathtaking portfolio, but I thought I'd show some images from her own home here. So refreshing to come across such an individual, warm, slightly rugged, natural style.
That kitchen has me swooning!

such a beautiful and interesting home! i'm a bit in a brown phase at the moment so this images please my eye totally!
I first saw this house pictured in an old Daily Mail supplement at the doctor's; I liked it so much that I simply had to smuggle the magazine home so that I could rip the pages out for my inspiration file - naughty?
Hi! I have nominated you for The Versatile Blogger award! I enjoy reading your blog. See my post on this award for next steps. Keep up the good work! www.omonstruario.wordpress.com

Lovely! ♥
Thanks Herma, a sweet Sunday to you, x
Really happy you too liked it, it's always a pleasure to plonk these on here :)
Well that's something - I can't quite put my finger on what is so appealing about this home.
But it sure looks like a real *home*, and not one where every latest trend has been copied religiously.
Thanks Maria ♥
The browns in these are so right somehow, a really natural, organic, soft look.
Ha, love it, naughty but nice:) (I'm sure I would have ended up doing the same... ) I'm actually surprised not to have seen it featured anywhere, as it's such a gem of a place.
Wow, thank you Sara, I'll have to pop by, x
Let's just swooooooon together!
Liveable exactly, a far cry from a 'showroom home', which why I think it's so lovely.
Really glad you liked it dear Sara ♥
Yes, I love this house and yet it's not easy to put the finger (as Rebecca said) on what makes it so special and why is so lovely. I'll try tho. Maybe the clutter in that corner, by the window? Although the clutter goes counter to what I'm working on in my own apartment (still work in progress). I also like the feel of a house lived in, unpretentious, with bits and pieces collected in years (you know the dictum, Live with what you love). The kitchen - such a contrast to those immaculate-never-cooked-in from some glossy magazines! Yes, I want to see the sugar jar, the spice jars, some pots and pans, some interesting photos glued to the old fridge. The rough fabrics? Wonderful. The sketches on the wall personalize further the atmosphere. There's something wholesome about it. And the guy "cruel + tender?" Precious. [*wink wink*]
Rebecca, thank you for sharing! Have a new week full of accomplishments and joy. Doina
Oh yes, the dog too!
What a beautiful home! So many lovely things along side simple white walls.
I am proud to say that I have been her assistant on few shoots when I was starting as a stylist, she is so talented...
You say it perfectly! Lived-in, loved&cherished is written all over this home, x
Oh definitely the dog :)
And thank you for your beautiful wishes, straight to my heart - have a beautiful week, too x
A special place indeed!
Well I thought there was a connection between you two, and when I saw her incredible photos from your home in her portfolio my heart nearly skipped a beat. Hope you and your family are keeping well, I often think about you, x
