Katja Rinkinen is at the helm of one of my favourite Finnish blogs, Parolan asema, describing the painstaking renovation process of an old railway station that they get to call home. The DIY inspiration she shares astounds me every time I visit her blog and seems to flow at such an abundance that it now spills into her second book, Sormustin ja sorkkarauta (directly translated as Thimble&Crowbar). The book is only in Finnish (at the moment?), but here are some of my favourite images that I'm sure many can enjoy anyway.
). Lisäksi käytännön kokemukset ja hyvät neuvot vanhan talon kunnostamiseen liittyen olivat tosi kiinnostavaa luettavaa.
Vilket bra tips! Love the "wallpaper" made out of pages of old books, such a brilliant idea!
