Brussels boho

This bohemian haven belongs
to interior designer Muriel Bardinet,
who owns antique shop Dune 234 in Brussels.
The space is a former orphanage and sushi restaurant,
but now a home full of quirky nooks
and cherished objects...

Interesting ceilings in the bedroom and in the room with the three pendants. Oh the lamb on the dresser, adorable, as well as the girl. Beautiful photos, inspiring. Thanks for sharing.

Aijaijaijai. Tuo kolmas kuva on sellainen että voisin palata siihen vaikka kuinka monta kertaa. Thanks. Nyt mä kaivan tämän lehden pinoistani, koska mulla on tuo maaliskuun numero, tiedän sen.

This is a beautiful space Rebecca. In my Vancouver house I have similar white walls similar and also an odd assortment of wall art. Love this. In an old house, about 15 yrs ago, I stencilled silver stars on a dark blue ceiling in the bathroom. Love the look once again and especially since I saw another ceiling like this at Sezincote House a couple of weeks ago. Now that I'm back in my Vancouver house I feel like re-decorating! Lol, as thought I don't have enough to do!.

"I put a bit of poetry there" is the sentence that stirred me, too... x

Tuo kolmas on kyllä huipppuhieno,
mahtavia kauhtuneita sävyjä ja yksityiskohtia.
Hauskaa, että sulla löytyy vielä samainen jemmasta!

Tämä kyllä kolahti,
pakko oli tänne kaapata :)
Aurinkoista viikonloppua sinne! x

Your house sounds like a dream...
I think it's striking how boldly people used to decorate many moons ago,
like stencilling stars into vaulted ceilings
and using the most amazing colour and texture combinations.
Have a lovely Saturday! x
