A POSTCARD FROM OSLO

Grey skies intermittent with tender rays of the sun,

Magnolia, cherry trees and lilacs in full bloom,

crowds gathered outside the Grand Hotel

in hope of a sighting of Dalai Lama, who happened to be in town.

Area hopping and window shopping.

And somehow on my travels

I always start playing the game of

"hmmm, which apartment would I move to",

and in that case,

which bouquet would I pick from the flower market

to tuck under my arm

and take home with me...

This is as far  as I've got with going through my Oslo photos,

but I have a feeling there's another batch or two in store.

The beauty you capture gives me peace. The florals especially bring a softness to begin the week. Thank you.

Ha michele, my kindred spirit,
knowing that Dalai Lama himself
and the Manic Street Preachers
were in town at the same time
gave that extra special air :)
