Yesterday came thunder & rain,
then a sea of lupins.
Today,
one out watching trains with papa,
the other swimming with daddy.
Sun resting on the shoulders,
curls of lavender-wafting incense
rising towards the wide-flung window,
eye to the viewfinder,
eye to the viewfinder,
freedom under the feet.
A lovely Sunday to you!

Thank you darling hannah ♥
DeleteHave to say that beautiful England
seemed to abound in every type of flora imaginable,
but not "lupiner".
I remember my dear father-in-law
tried to actually plant some
in his London garden
to no avail,
even though they grow wild
on every roadside over here
and many actually try to get rid of...
But England and all those wonderful
different trees,
those I miss... x
