2015 ended with a bang & laughter
surrounded by dearest family & friends.
A year that makes me whisper thank you
from the bottom of my heart.

And today, the New Year
unfolded with the umpteenth, silently sipped coffee
& the feeling of a white, blank, first page of a journal.

No resolutions this year,
but a few quiet wishes:

mistakes,
grace,
giving.

Wishing you a year ahead
that's all that you hope & much more.
Those delicious surprise elements.

Ahh, the blank page
- don't you just l o v e that notion...
The stillness, the unknown chapters that lie ahead...
Sending a wish for your pages to be filled

Oh Rebecca -- you have such a gift with words and always the perfect images. If you have a moment, i invite you to take a quick peek at my post today -- (originally entitled "new beginnings", by the way!) There is lots of white in the images --- not the creamy kind you adore so much, but still...I think you will love. I took them while sledding with my family in British Columbia, Canada. An incredible day.

Gosh this is so beautiful. I will be sharing about my guiding word. -silent- for the new year this weekend on my blog. No more resolutions for me either. A word has been something that works for me and carries me through the year.

Thank you from my heart dear Melody.
White is lovely, no matter what shade -
and does remind of that fresh new leaf
that's so alluring & full of promise...
What a lovely way for you to begin the New Year
with your family!
Take care & a treasured 2016 to you, x

What a special guiding word for the New Year sweet...
I share this notion with you,
no added pressure of resolutions,
but yes, a guiding word or theme
that seems to strike a chord
with one's heart at the time...
I guess for me it all boils down to "grace"
when thinking of the year ahead,
towards oneself & others.
I look forward to reading that post, x
