It's creeping in...

Adding to the theme of children's rooms, here's a glimpse of our daughter's room from this morning - the rest of our home isn't looking quite as Christmassy yet, but during the weekend I've been trying to get some shots of the kids for this year's Christmas cards. A rather blurred catch in this dimness.

Lastenhuoneteemaan liittyen, tässä tämän aamuinen vilaus tyttären huoneesta - ihan näin jouluiselta ei meillä vielä muualla näytä, mutta viikonlopun aikana olen yrittänyt saada lapsista jonkinlaisia otoksia joulukortteja varten. Melkoisen tärähtänyt saalis vaan tässä hämärässä.

Florsjö Gård

I still remember sharing this dream (one of a myriad of different dreams, I can tell you...) quite a while ago now. I've been nursing my little flu with a pile of old magazines in the last few days, and came across the same beautiful Florsjö Gård once again. And then found some more pictures, which I thought I'd post for all of you to see.  So here goes -

More than a hint of an idyllic Carl Larsson-esque Swedish existence there don't you think?

(And these warmed my heart, as we now have two little violinists in the house, too, with our younger one having her second lesson today - she is so excited!)

Tuesday snapshots [and a couple of sweet links ]

Pining for blooms (like every spring)
Devouring books about Paris even without a trip in the pipeline
So much going on this May (like every May), but I seem to love spring more and more each year

Some adorable sights:

Jokakeväinen kukkahimo
Pariisi-kirjojen ahmintaa, vaikkei matkaa edes suunnitteilla
Toukokuun haipakkaa (kuten toukokuussa aina), mutta olen huumaantunut keväästä enemmän kuin koskaan

Sunshine in Brussels

Ah, the light, airy, lived-in feel of this family home in Brussels. This is the abode of Justine Glanfield,  the name behind Cotton & Milk, her French photographer husband Vincent and their son Oscar.

It's Friday, the sun is streaming through the windows and I'm listening
