the grey and the rain and the lull they create,

I could just, well, stay seated,

or hmmm keep flopping

with a comforting book in my hand

 but having a snooze instead…

Villa Magico

We used to pass this abandoned looking villa

on the shore of Lake Como

nearly every day. 

I would gasp every time,

as it seemed to be both abundant 

in glorious beauty of the past

and shrouded in a veil of mystery.

It's places like these 

that whisper a million tales

and would of course be the most perfect

locations for a fashion shoot,

in this glowing vein -

A little dusting of magic

on a rather ordinary  autumn day.

Naja Munthe's world

I've had a bit of an unexpected blog break, as my poor dear mr. mac was quite poorly 

- but he's up and running again, & so am I. 

Today for a glimpse into the world of Copenhagen-based fashion designer Naja Munthe, who is the creative talent behind the munthe plus simonsen label and author of Fashionable Living.
